The Kingwood Marriage Ministry, "Lovin' Home Life," is an umbrella of ministries established to serve the families of our church and our community. We offer a full array of ministries touching the whole family:
Marriage Coaching - Paul & Cherrie Niven
“Are you lovin’ home life?” “Do you have a lovin’ home life?”
While no one can answer “yes” 100% of the time, all of us should strive to have a home with a foundation of Love, Peace, and Joy.This seven-week Marriage Coaching program is designed to introduce you to some biblically-based behaviors designed to help find that lovin’ home life all of us long for.
Marriage Events
Parties, lessons, studies, games - all events that are designed to strengthen your home life by keeping you in touch with fellow-Christians who face the same struggles that you do. Together, we learn to encourage each other to press forward, stay strong, and grow in our marriages.
Pre-Marriage Coaching - Randall and Tammy Williams
Engaged or seriously dating? This ministry helps couples "test" their relationship through the use of an extensive relationship inventory and a series of exercises administered by one of our "Coach Couples". Lovin' Home Life Prayer Team
Real breakthroughs in marriage happen as a result of serious prayer. Do you want to see couples restored? Do you have a passion to pray? Join the Lovin' Home Life prayer team - learn how we can use you in praying with couples, and praying for the ministry!
Prayer
The prayer ministry is committed to interceding for our pastors and other leaders and ministries of the church. Special emphasis is placed on praying for missions, the National Day of Prayer and the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Prayer is one of the foundation stones of Kingwood Church.The Prayer Ministryis a “ministry of helps serving our pastors, our church family, and individuals outside the church. It also includes corporate prayer meetings, a telephone prayer ministry, alter services, a yearly prayer retreat, and, The Intercessor, a weekly prayer newsletter.

Hospital/Homebound & Nursing Home Visitation
This ministry of compassion to those who are sick, shut-in, and bed-bound places a premium on those whom Jesus valued so much. Whether in church or out of church, people deserve to be loved and cared for by their church family! Greeters
You never get a second chance to make a first impression, so the goal of this ministry is to make a powerfully positive point of first contact with every person who enters Kingwood Church. With a smile, a pleasant hello, and a bulletin in hand, our greeters will make every guest feel right at home.
Ushers
Professional, efficient and courteous, our usher team creates a safe and friendly atmosphere in our facilities during service times. They handle all distribution and collection during the service, and ensure an environment conducive to worship.
Agape Meals
There’s no more important time to be there for people than during their time of grief. Agape’ serves and loves people during this important season of life.
