Kids Night Out is this Friday, May 18th.

Kids Night Out is more like “Parents Night Out!” KNO has been a part of Kingwood now for several years and is a favorite event both for the kids who attend, and the parents who get to have a night to themselves.

At KNO your kids will have the best time rotating through the many activities set up according to their age level. From jumping on one of the space bounces, to eating great snacks, to arts & crafts, or playing a ton of games, your child won’t have time to get bored.

KNO is for infants up to 6th grade. Cost is $15 per child or $25 per family. 6:15pm -10pm

A new message series through Spring 2012, “God Encounters” will shed light on all the times that God intersects our lives. Whether its the big moments, or the seemingly small and mundane, God is always with us each step of the way.  Join us on Sunday mornings for “God Encounters.”

Sunday Morning Services begin at 9:00am and 10:45am.

Winning Marriage is a ‘marriage coaching’ ministry. It is a safe place to discuss the root issues that have caused your marriage to slow, become stale, or to have stalled out completely. On October 1-7, 2012, Kingwood Church will take a team of 30 to work on the expansion of a Latin America Child Care (LACC) school in Soyapango, El Salvador.  Although blocklaying and general constuction skills are very helpful, there will be a number of opportunities for unskilled labor and ministry options outside of construction as well.  Your heart will be blessed by seeing and having a part in the LACC system working in the lives of the precious children of El Salvador.

Deeper Life classes are Kingwood’s answer to the mid-week gathering.  Not just another service, it is a set of classes on a 3-week rotation, each of which represents one of the 4 goals of our church… to ENCOUNTER God, CONNECT with people, GROW in faith & ministry, and LIVE on mission.

Encounter, Connect, Grow, Live.

And since these classes change every 3 weeks, you don’t feel like your in just another “sunday school” class with a quarterly curriculum.  You come in for a few wednesday nights, and you leave having experienced biblical teaching through skilled teachers and interaction from others in an “easy to digest” atmosphere.  

Celebrate Recovery is about fellowship and celebration of God´s healing power in our lives through “8 Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God´s grace in solving our lives´ problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
