Welcome to Kingwood Church!

Thank you for visiting KingwoodChurch.com today! Whether it was a mail out, our logo on the side of our bus passing by, or a web search engine that brought you to us, we’re glad you’re here. We want you to know that God loves you and has a plan for your life through His son, Jesus Christ. And we’d love nothing more than to share His love with you personally.

We offer a wide range of services and small groups that will appeal to you through either common interests or a common age group. A few of the main ones are listed below:

What’s next?

We are so excited that you are considering Kingwood Church as a place for you and your family to belong. On a regular basis, we offer two opportunities that are especially useful to getting you better connected to our church family.

First, we invite you to attend a 2-week class called Kingwood Life Adventure (KLA).  KLA is a great introduction to the purpose, values, and ministry philosophy of Kingwood Church.  Taking part in this class will help you learn more about us, and more about yourself as well.  KLA is conveniently scheduled on campus in a one session format, Sunday morning from 10:45 am until about 1pm.  During this time we will also have a delicious catered lunch together and childcare will be provided. Whether you are new to faith, or just new to Kingwood, KLA is a great first step in your spiritual growth journey at Kingwood.

To be a member at Kingwood Church means that you have committed to become a part of a team focused on “loving people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus.”  This commitment goes beyond making this your church home.  It means that you have prayerfully become a stakeholder in what God is leading this congregation to do.  Membership is not merely a statement of identity, it is a statement of ownership signifying both responsibility and accountability to this local church body. Membership is not required to receive ministry or to attended Kingwood Church.

Jesus himself was baptized and, in Matthew 28:19, calls for every believer to follow in his footsteps. It is not equivalent to joining the church and it does not obligate a person to become a member. It is, however, the prescribed way in which we personally and publicly declare our identification with Christ. Simply put, it is an outward sign of your inward faith. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in learning more about water baptism here at Kingwood or wish to be contacted to participate in our next scheduled baptism.
