Cooking is more than just mixing stuff together—it takes time, creativity, care, and knowing what each ingredient brings to the table. The same is true when it comes to growing our faith! In this 4-day series, kids get to put on their aprons and discover how to practice spiritual habits that bring them closer to God. Through Old Testament stories like those of Jacob, Moses, and Deborah, our young chefs will realize that God gave us gifts that make a difference, God makes us stronger together, and we make God known when we share our story.

🤲 outreach project
We are super excited to partner with Shelby Woods independent Living Complex for ages 62 and older. We would like to provide canned goods, laundry detergent, and hygiene products. Our kids will pack and pray over these bags for 53 units. Items can be dropped off before or during VBS in the Church Office/Main Foyer. Here is a list of preapproved items for the packages.

This year for VBS, we are excited to partner with two meaningful outreach projects in Peru. Through our giving, we will support an Assemblies of God camp that serves children year-round by providing a safe place where they are welcomed, cared for, and fed. We will also be partnering with a ministry in Arequipa, Peru, helping provide funds for resources used in evangelism. These tools will help reach children and youth with the message of God’s love in a practical and impactful way. Together, we have the opportunity to make a difference beyond our community and be a movement of hope to children in Peru.

How old does my child have to be to attend?
VBS is for rising 1st-5th graders. If they’re entering 1st-5th grade in the fall, come on!
My child needs special accommodations. What’s available?
We have a Special Needs Team that is available to be a one-on-one buddy for your child. Our goal is for all children to participate in whole group activities, but we have a sensory room available for kiddos that might need a break.
What’s the schedule?
5:30 – 6:00 | check-in
6:00 – 6:45 | worship + service
6:45 – 8:00 | stations: snack, games, activities
8:00 – 8:20 | review + prayer
8:20 – 8:30 | closing
