There are so many issues in today's world that pull at each of us on a daily basis. These events can leave us feeling drained in so many ways. Soak will be a new Sunday night experience that Kingwood will dive into on the 3rd Sunday of each month. On June 2-9, 2012, Kingwood will take a multi-generational team into an Arab Muslim culture for a week of work and ministry, without ever leaving U.S. soil. Dearborn, Michigan (outside Detroit) is home to over 40,000 Arab Muslims in a 12-square mile area. God has provided a strategically-positioned facility and ministry plan to a group of missionaries with whom we will partner. Among our opportunities will be reaching out through acts of kindness, pressing in through intercession, and planting deep through construction of a coffeehouse where relationships can be formed between Christians and Muslims.
